Dentists of the Dental Center

Alexander is a dentist at the Dental Center. He is from Germany and studied dentistry in Lithuania. Alex, as he is often called, speaks English and German fluently, and is learning Icelandic. He is very interested in Iceland and everything the country has to offer. Alexander is known for his professionalism and places great emphasis on precision and good treatment outcomes. He has a special interest in root canals, but also offers examinations, repairs, and extractions. In addition to his work at the Dental Center, Alex works as a dental nurse at Tannhjálp, where he receives patients in emergency cases.

Marteinn Þór is the owner of the Dental Center and graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Iceland in the spring of 2021. Marteinn is 30 years old and comes from Neskaupstaður. Despite his young age, he has attended numerous courses both domestically and abroad, and regularly engages in further education to maintain the highest quality of service. The main courses that Marteinn Þór has attended are courses in dental implants and orthodontics, but also root canals and dental repairs. Marteinn performs all general dentistry and finds the diversity in his work very rewarding. Katrina is a dentist from the Faroe Islands and completed her dental training in Aarhus, Denmark. She has already started studying Icelandic and understands the language very well, as the languages are very similar. Katrina has a special knack for working with children, as she worked in a pediatric dental clinic in the Faroe Islands for several years before moving to Iceland. Katrina also offers all general dental services, such as check-ups, cleanings, repairs, extractions, and root canals. In addition to her work at the Dental Center, Katrina works as a dental nurse at Tannhjálp, where she receives patients in emergency cases.
